This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP, TEFC WEG motor in a NEMA 254 T-frame enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a guard. The motor incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding for electrical protection. This pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.94 and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards.
