This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and cover with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 2-1/2" suction, and a 2" discharge. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design with AEGIS shaft grounding to protect the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections and flush seal line taps for filter installation. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies venting.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor in a 254 JM frame with feet. The motor enclosure is TEFC, configured for 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. It functions at a 40°C ambient temperature and meets NEMA standard requirements. The motor features premium efficiency in accordance with MG1-12.55 and has a PEI value of 0.9. The pump rotation is CCW.
