This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump is equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The design includes a dry shaft configuration that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid and integrates pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 60 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure on a 326 TS frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor provides premium efficiency, meets MG1-12.55 standards, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard guard. The pump operates at a 40°C ambient temperature and carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
