This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a cast iron casing with an 11" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a bronze wear ring. The unit is configured with a dry shaft design that incorporates a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. The bearing housing contains permanently lubricated sealed-for-life ball bearings.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor. The motor is a NEMA T-frame style, size 284, with an ODP enclosure and premium efficiency ratings that meet MG1-12.55 standards. The electrical configuration is 230-460V/60Hz/3PH with across-the-line starting and an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and is connected to the motor via a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard.
