This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber is included, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM using a 2 HP Baldor motor in a 145 JM frame with feet. The motor features a TEFC enclosure and is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power with an across the line starting option. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. This pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.78.
