This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit is configured with a dry shaft design and includes a bearing frame with greasable bearings.
The pump is driven by a 2 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 145 T-frame. It operates on 230-460/60/3 power with an across the line starting option and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards under MG1-12.55. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a standard Woods coupler. This equipment has a DOE PEI of 0.88 and operates in a CCW rotation at 40°C ambient temperature.
