This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction connection and a 6" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring housed within a cast iron casing. The unit includes a stainless steel shaft configured with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The bearing housing contains permanently lubricated, sealed-for-life ball bearings.
The pump is powered by a 50 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 326T frame, operating at 1750 RPM with a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply. The assembly uses across the line starting and is connected to the motor by a Woods coupler, protected by a standard coupler guard. The system is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit has a DOE PEI of 0.93.
