This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing and cover, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. It incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the piping, and the top center line discharge configuration simplifies piping layouts and facilitates self-venting.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured in a 184 JM frame with feet and is compatible with 230-460/60/3PH power. It features across-the-line starting and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.84. The assembly is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment.
