This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 5" suction and 4" discharge connections, both utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. It houses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump uses a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components provides sealing for temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly includes flush seal line taps and a rear pullout design to facilitate maintenance.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a 324JM frame style with feet and operates on a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump operates at a 40°C ambient temperature with counter-clockwise rotation and has a PEI value of 0.92.
