This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It is designed with a rear pullout configuration, top center line discharge, and a dry shaft design that uses a bronze slip-on shaft sleeve to isolate the pump shaft from system fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections, and the unit includes flush seal line taps for particle filtration.
The pump is powered by a 2 HP Baldor TEFC motor mounted on a 184 JM frame with feet. It operates at 1150 RPM on a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA standard requirements, offers premium efficiency compliant with MG1-12.55, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The configuration is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature and utilizes a counter-clockwise rotation.
