This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the shaft from contacting the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump construction provides flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is configured with a 5 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure on a 182 JM frame with feet. It operates at 3450 RPM using a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is NEMA standard, configured for CCW rotation, and features premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 standards with integrated AEGIS shaft grounding. The system operates at a 40°C ambient temperature and maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.92. The pump utilizes a rear pullout design to allow service without disturbing the system piping.
