This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid contact with the shaft and includes flush seal line taps. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting operation up to 250 °F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge provides self-venting and simplifies piping layouts.
This unit operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 1 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 145 JM frame with feet. The motor includes a drip cover, AEGIS shaft grounding, and is rated for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power with across the line starting. It meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. Integrated pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
