This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It is configured with a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250 °F. Additional features include flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design. The discharge is oriented at the top center line.
This pump is configured with a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in a 213 JM frame style with feet and a TEFC enclosure. It operates at 1750 RPM using a 230-460V, 3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment, meeting NEMA standards and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. This unit has a DOE PEI of 0.87 and operates with counter-clockwise rotation.
