This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter. It includes ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 2" suction connection, and a 1-1/4" discharge connection. The unit incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and the pump is rated for operating temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the piping, and the unit includes flush seal line taps.
The pump is driven by a 10 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a 215 JM frame with feet. It operates at 3450 RPM and is configured for a 230/460V 3PH 60Hz power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor meets NEMA standards, maintains premium efficiency per MG1-12.55, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The rotation is CCW, and the assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. This unit provides a DOE PEI value of 0.83.
