This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a maximum temperature rating of 250°F. The unit incorporates a rear pullout design for service access and includes flush seal line taps along with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is configured with a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor that operates at 3450 RPM. It requires a power supply of 230-460/60/3 PH. The motor uses a 256 JM frame with feet and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The maximum ambient temperature rating is 40°C. This pump features a DOE PEI rating of 0.9 and uses across-the-line starting as the standard configuration.
