This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing that includes a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber manages fluid at temperatures up to 250 °F. The design includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings, and a rear pullout configuration to facilitate maintenance without disturbing the system piping.
The pump is configured with a 15 HP Baldor motor in a 254 JM frame style with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM using a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply. The motor includes a TEFC enclosure, AEGIS shaft grounding, and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. This unit is rated for 40 °C ambient temperature and features across the line starting. The top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and reduces strain. This pump meets DOE efficiency requirements with a PEI of 0.9.
