This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. It has a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with a top center line orientation. The unit uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction and flush seal line taps for optional particle filtration. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. The pump includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections, and its rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping.
This pump is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and operates at 3450 RPM. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor utilizes a 254JM frame style with feet and features AEGIS shaft grounding to meet premium efficiency MG1-12.55 standards. The assembly maintains a 40 °C ambient rating with CCW rotation and a DOE PEI of 0.9.
