This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal is configured with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F for clean water applications. The pump assembly utilizes greasable bearings.
This pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 213 T-frame operating at 1750 RPM. Electrical requirements are 230-460/60/3 PH with across the line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a standard Woods coupler. It operates in a 40°C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.88.
