This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent the pump shaft from contacting the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. This unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design permits maintenance without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge facilitates self-venting.
The pump is driven by a 10 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure, a drip cover, and AEGIS shaft grounding. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3 power supply using across-the-line starting. The motor features a JM frame style with feet and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. This configuration meets NEMA standards and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. The pump operates with counter-clockwise rotation and has a PEI of 0.94.
