This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 7.25" nominal diameter. The pump uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly includes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes a center-line discharge and pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor in a NEMA 215 frame. This motor features a TEFC enclosure and includes AEGIS shaft grounding, configured for a 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This pump is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI of 0.92 and an HI Energy Rating of 8. The motor is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
