This base-mounted end suction pump incorporates a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and operates with a dry shaft design rated for 125 PSI with a wear ring. The pump comprises a mechanical seal assembly with a ceramic seat and EPT rubber. The construction utilizes a center-line discharge for air venting, including gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections.
The assembly utilizes a 7.5 HP premium efficiency PMAC motor with a TEFC enclosure, operating at 1750 RPM, integrating Aegis grounding for protection, and runs on a 200-230V 3PH power supply with a DOE PEI rating of 0.45. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
