This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The assembly utilizes a dry shaft design and features flush seal line taps, suction and discharge pressure tappings, and a rear pullout design that allows servicing without disturbing system piping. The top centerline discharge design simplifies piping layouts and makes the pump self-venting.
The unit is configured with a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure on a 145 JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. Starting is configured for across the line operation, and the unit is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment. The pump maintains a PEI of 0.85.
