This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The design incorporates a slip-on shaft sleeve and a dry shaft configuration that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. Pressure tappings are included on the suction and discharge connections, and the unit features flush seal line taps for filter installation. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disrupting system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
The pump is configured with a 3 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure, operating at 1750 RPM. It utilizes a 182 JM frame style with feet and supports 230/460V, 3PH power with across the line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit operates at an ambient temperature of 40 °C with a maximum fluid temperature of 250 °F. This model provides a PEI rating of 0.83.
