This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge, both configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid and includes an easy-to-replace, slip-on shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, while the rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping.
This unit is configured with a 1-1/2 HP Baldor Super E Premium Efficiency motor in a 145 JM frame style with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM with an ODP enclosure and connects to a 230-460V, 3 PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and uses across the line starting. The pump has a PEI value of 0.88.
