This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump utilizes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft fitted with a bronze shaft sleeve. It is configured with a mechanical seal consisting of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F in clean water systems. The unit includes a bronze wear ring, integrated pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a dry shaft design. Greasable bearings are housed within the bearing frame to support the rotating assembly.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 215 T-frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump has a PEI of 0.89 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
