This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 5" suction and a 4" discharge. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a bronze wear ring. The pump connections utilize ANSI Class 125 flanges. A mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber maintains operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and circulating fluid, and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP TEFC Baldor motor. It is configured with a 215 JM motor frame with feet and uses a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature, follows NEMA standards, and features CCW rotation. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping, while the top center line discharge facilitates self-venting and reduces piping strain.
