This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The internal sealing system consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction and greasable bearings housed within the bearing frame. This unit does not include a wear ring.
The pump is driven by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 145 T frame with an ODP enclosure. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is configured with a welded base, an integrated drip pan, and a standard coupler guard. This pump has a PEI value of 0.81 and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
