This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal impeller constructed of stainless steel and is housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction to prevent contact between the pumped fluid and the shaft, and it includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. This unit is configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and fits a NEMA 326T motor frame. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. The system utilizes greasable bearings within the bearing frame and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
