This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The casing includes gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections, and the configuration allows for maintenance without disturbing the system piping.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 50 HP Baldor ODP motor in a 324TS NEMA frame. The motor is rated for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power and features premium efficiency, meeting MG1-12.55 standards with an included AEGIS shaft grounding ring. It is configured with an across the line starting option and is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard guard. This model maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.94.
