This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter. A stainless steel shaft is utilized with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 60 HP, ODP Baldor Premium Efficiency motor in a NEMA 364T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with an across the line starting option and a 40°C ambient rating. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a standard Woods coupler for the drive connection. This equipment has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.92.
