This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction connection and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze wear ring, and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing is equipped with pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP TEFC WEG motor. It is configured for a 380V/60Hz/3PH power supply and utilizes a NEMA 286T frame. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler shielded by a coupler guard. This model provides a pump efficiency index (PEI) of 0.89 and complies with NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The motor is arranged for across-the-line starting.
