This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge ports equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft protected by a stainless steel shaft sleeve. The assembly incorporates a bronze wear ring and a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the shaft.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP Baldor Super E TEFC motor on a NEMA 256 frame. The motor features AEGIS shaft grounding and is configured for 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard guard. It meets NEMA standards for 40°C ambient operation and is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI of 0.95 and an HI energy rating of 5.
