This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a rear pullout design and a top center line discharge configuration. Additionally, it includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a JM frame style with feet and operates on 230-460/60/3PH. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements per MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting method is across the line. This assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature with a CCW rotation and has a DOE PEI value of 0.89.
