This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction port and a 3" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft configuration to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections, and the unit includes flush seal line taps for fluid management in clean water applications.
This pump is powered by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 182T frame. It operates at 1150 RPM on a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates an integral drip pan and is connected to the motor via a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The system is configured for across-the-line starting and is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment.
