This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a cast iron casing and a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve with a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal includes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. It also features a grease-lubricated bearing frame and flush seal line taps with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 254 T-frame enclosure. It is configured for 380/60/3 power supply with an across the line starting option. This unit meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding for protection. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a standard coupler guard with a Woods coupler. This model maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.87 and functions within a 40°C ambient temperature range.
