This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge, both with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for a maximum fluid temperature of 250°F.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP WEG TEFC motor on a NEMA 284T frame. It is rated for 230-460/60/3 power and uses an across-the-line starting configuration. Equipment includes AEGIS shaft grounding, greasable bearings, and CCW rotation. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard using a Woods-style coupler. This pump meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards and maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.89.
