This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed from stainless steel. The pump casing and cover are cast iron. It includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing for operation in clean water up to 300°F. The rear pullout design permits servicing without removing system piping, and the top centerline discharge supports self-venting. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with a 286 JM motor frame style with feet and a TEFC enclosure. The motor is rated for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and a 40°C ambient temperature. It meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump has a PEI value of 0.94.
