This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The unit includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze wear ring. The pump uses a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve with a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. A mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber handles temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is configured with a 75 HP TEFC WEG motor, NEMA frame 365, operating at 1750 RPM. It uses a 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a Woods coupler for the drive connection. This configuration maintains a DOE PEI of 0.93 and operates at a 50 °C ambient temperature.
