This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 4" suction and a 3" discharge. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft sleeve. The pump is constructed with ANSI Class 125 flanges and includes a bronze wear ring. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction with a slip-on shaft sleeve, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, while the top centerline discharge configuration supports self-venting.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured with a 230-460/60/3 power supply and a JM frame style with feet. It operates in a 40°C ambient environment, meets NEMA standards, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor provides premium efficiency consistent with MG1-12.55 requirements. The assembly uses an across-the-line starting option and is configured for CCW rotation. This pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.91.
