This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal includes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 125 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 444 T-frame. The power requirement is 460/60/3PH. The motor includes an AEGIS SGR and an insulated bearing on the NDE. The assembly is secured to a welded base featuring an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler. This equipment meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a PEI rating of 0.93.
