This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allowing operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes a rear pullout design, top center line discharge, pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, and flush seal line taps for filter installation.
The pump uses a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 213 JM frame style with feet. It operates at 3450 RPM on a 230-460V, 60 Hz, 3PH power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for 40 °C ambient environments and functions with a CCW rotation. The pump has a PEI value of 0.87.
