This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, along with a bronze wear ring and ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact with the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for service without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge supports self-venting.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor. The motor is enclosed in a TEFC housing and configured with a 256JM frame style with feet. It operates on a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and uses an across the line starting option. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA standards. The pump achieves a PEI of 0.94.
