This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The unit utilizes a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It is equipped with a bronze wear ring and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump construction incorporates a dry shaft design and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 40 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 324 T-frame enclosure. It is configured for a 380V/60Hz/3PH power supply and utilizes across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant guard.
