This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump includes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump casing provides pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections and includes flush seal line taps.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP, Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 286 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460/60/3 PH input and utilizes an across-the-line starting method. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The pump carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
