This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 3" suction, and a 2-1/2" discharge. It utilizes a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller equipped with a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor TEFC motor on a 215 T frame. It connects to the motor using a Woods coupler mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3PH for across the line starting. The motor is rated for 40 °C ambient temperatures and meets NEMA standards. This unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding, adheres to premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, and has a DOE PEI of 0.88.
