This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 6" suction and 5" discharge. It utilizes a 9 1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft sleeve. The design incorporates a slip-on shaft sleeve and a dry shaft construction. The pump uses a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250 °F. It includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The pump assembly utilizes ANSI Class 125 flanges and a rear pullout design with a top center line discharge.
The pump is configured with a 25 HP Baldor motor in a 284 JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM using a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply. The motor enclosure is TEFC, and the system includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a PEI value of 0.92. Starting is configured for across the line operation, and the unit is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment.
