This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze slip-on shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Additional features include flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for service without removing the system piping.
The pump is configured with a 30 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure, operating at 3450 RPM. It utilizes a 284 JM frame with feet and requires a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The motor meets NEMA standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit operates with CCW rotation and across-the-line starting. This pump complies with premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a PEI value of 0.94.
