This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The unit incorporates a mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for temperatures up to 250°F in clean water applications. It features flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The top center line discharge and rear pullout design allow for service without disturbing system piping.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a JM frame style with feet. The unit is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump operates at a 40°C ambient temperature with CCW rotation and has a DOE PEI of 0.9.
