This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge ports and uses ANSI Class 125 flanges. It contains a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve within a dry shaft design. The unit utilizes a mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for clean water applications up to 250°F. The rear pullout configuration allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is configured with a 3 HP Baldor motor in a 213 JM frame style with feet. The motor features an ODP enclosure, operates at 1150 RPM, and is rated for 230-460/60/3PH power. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The assembly is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures and utilizes an across-the-line starting configuration with a counter-clockwise rotation. The top center line discharge design assists with self-venting and reduces piping strain.
