This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a bronze wear ring and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The design uses a dry shaft configuration to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 254T frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 PH power and utilizes an across the line starting method. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards, includes AEGIS shaft grounding, and features a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.92.
